COLLECTION PERIOD
The picking period is from the end of July until mid-October.
There is no minimum amount for pick up.
You can pick them yourself, or buy them already picked at the kiosk at the entrance.
If you want large quantities, already picked, please let us know in advance.
CONTAINERS
We provide 6 liter (11 quart) containers
We lend containers of 18 liters (4 gallons) and 36 liters (8 gallons) for larger quantities. So plan large bags to transfer your peppers. You can also buy our 36 liter container for $5.
HOW TO COLLECT THEM
Bring gloves before going to the eggplant fields, as the plants are sometimes prickly!
Choose eggplants that are spotless, soft to the touch and shiny.
Cut the stem with secateurs one or two centimeters above the fruit while holding your eggplant.

HOW TO STORE THEM
Eggplant will keep for about a week in your fridge.
IN THE FREEZER
You can freeze them raw or cooked.
Raw, cut them into strips and place them on a baking sheet. Put in the freezer, avoiding that the pieces touch each other. Once frozen, transfer them to an airtight bag.
IN THE OVEN.
Cut them into rings, and steam them, bake them or roast them.
